The 0.8 was new to the Sherco Lineup in 2003 and proved to be a very popular bike for the youngsters who have outgrown the 0.5 but were not quite big enough to feel comfortable on the 1.25. The 2005 0.8 still uses the same basic components as the 1.25 but is equipped with a 79cc cylinder so that it can compete in international events as an "80". The wheel size is now the same as the larger bikes with a 21" front and an 18" rear. The swing arm has been shortened to work effectively this displacement machine. It has a unique fork designed for lighter riders. The styling and graphics are identical to those of the larger displacement models.
